WILLIAM G. CARPENTER — Guest Author

William G. Carpenter was born on Long Island and grew up in Connecticut, Texas, and California.  A reader of Tolkien from 5th grade to the present, he studied comparative literature at the graduate and undergraduate level, then went on to teach American, British, and world literature at Hebei University, CSU Chico, UCLA, CSU Long Beach, and UC Santa Cruz.  He has lived in the Twin Cities since the 1990s, where he enjoys walking along Lake Hiawatha with his wife and their rescue dog, Wuffa. JORDAN M. POSS — Guest Author

I am a native of the northeast Georgia mountains and an alumnus of Clemson University. Today I teach history at a technical college in upstate South Carolina, where I live with my wife and children. I am the author of several novels, including the medieval ghost story No Snakes in Iceland and the Civil War coming-of-age story Griswoldville. Two more novels are forthcoming. CHRISTOPHER WITTY — Guest Author

Since graduating with an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University, I have had short stories published both online and in print while I work on completing my first novel, a revenge story set in the murky world of Hollywood during the mid-1980s. I am a hopeless cinephile, and when not reading about film, I am forever exploring new movements and filmmakers. Daniella Rushton is the author of ‘The Panther Tales’ Fantasy Trilogy.  ‘The Watchers and The Gifted Ones’ is Book One in the series. STEPHANIE STAHLMAN

Stephanie claims Northeast Pennsylvania and Western Illinois for her upbringing, but has resided in Nashville for the majority of her life. Creative writing has been an ongoing ambition from an early age, focused on songwriting and cinematic forms. Her captivation with writing is heralded by heroes with a pen: in songwriting, Jon Foreman and Matthew Perryman Jones; in screenplay Christopher Nolan and Bryan Fuller. BENJAMIN WOLAVER

The imaginative search for truth is Benjamin Wolaver’s pursuit. A cellist, writer, philosopher, and actor, he enjoys a wide variety of creative roles. An alumni of the Juilliard School and a graduate of the University of London where he won the Academic Achievement Award, Benjamin has played cello for the acclaimed classical folk ensemble, Annie Moses Band, and collaborated on numerous songs for their chart topping albums. He stars in the forthcoming children’s series, The Wonderful World of Benjamin Cello. An active writer, Benjamin has penned numerous short stories and collaborated on musicals with his father, Bill Wolaver. He is currently studying for his Master of Arts in Religious Philosophy.
